Walking Running crawling and hoping,
Useless movements from our siblings,
Wandering around in obscure space
Tired already of our pointless race
Walking Running crawling and suffering,
Why being forced to a shameful living?
High price to pay for every good thing,
Nothing comes without compromising
What's
The
Purpose
Of the journey of existence
Beginning and end in convergence
Running around chasing a reason
But it's wiser just to reckon
If a higher being set it all for us
It would have given a real purpose
Transcend our flesh, grow intelligence
Maybe a collective common sense?
But none of what we ever achieved
Deserve mercy to be granted
Humanity clutched to its flesh
And doomed itself to filthy plague
From the ashes of our past
We've come a great way back to the start
Generations, one after the other
Brought nothing but pain and
Horror
What we deserved, we got
Forever witness the
Consequences of our pride,
Turned into disease, no cure,
We are the wound in our own flesh
Oh cruel fate...
We've sunk deep in blood and hate...
Out of eden garden...
To the point of becoming a
Walking virus scourging spaces and time
Swallow life-force of the other kind
Walking virus we became, and we remain
For there's no cure to our decadent reign
Walking virus scourging spaces and time
There is no cure that we will ever find
None of what we ever achieved
Deserve mercy to be granted
Humanity clutched to its flesh
And doomed itself to filthy plague
Oh cruel fate...
We've sunk deep in blood and hate...
Out of eden garden...
We took ourselves to the point of no return
Now hear my words and fulfill your potential
One chain link is stronger than the en-sem-ble,
Our flaws add up when grouped together,
Cure yourself alone and elevates with pride and honor.
Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
Much like the two previous albums, this album grew on me the more I listened to it. IE know exactly what they are doing. 10/10, can't stop listening to this.
Please do a tour in California! Stephen
When the production is bearable, Exocrine is probably the best tech death band in the world. This and Molten Giant are two of the best records in the genre. The last album had some real production defects that kicked me out (lawn sprinkler drum sound), but The Hybrid Suns is everything you could want in a tech death album. So unbelievably intricate and yet so much fun. It’s impossible to pick a favorite track. Metallurgical Fire
